Profile Skincare products were originally created over 45 years ago, by Caroline Hanbury Bateman. She started making creams for own use to combat dry skin and avoid high street blarney and prices. A childhood spent in Kenya had bred independence from an early age. As so often happens, a hobby became a business, and Profile Skincare was born. The business has since grown naturally and reliably through word of mouth, yet remains home based and handmade.

In 2009 Caroline shared her methods, recipes and knowledge, as Profile Skincare was acquired by Suzanne. The recipes, methods and ethos remain the same.

Products from the Profile Skincare range are handmade exclusively by Suzanne at her home in Somerset, England, using traditional time-proven ingredients.

Profile Skincare is entirely original and covers all aspects of skincare for men and women. Production levels are low, yet quality high.

The production, marketing and philosophy of Profile Skincare can be summarised in two words: Purity and Simplicity.

The ingredients used are natural, trustworthy and straightforward. Every ingredient is clearly labelled on each container, as well as in the mail order brochure and on the website. There is no testing of the ingredients or the finished products on animals, and none of the products contain preservatives. Packaging is kept to a minimum.

Profile Skincare is not sold in shops. It is available by internet and mail order, and from selected agents throughout the country.
